AI & NLP systems
LLM pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation, entity recognition and text classification — applied to messy real-world sources.
I build data-driven systems around LLMs — retrieval pipelines, entity extraction, workflow automation — and the Flutter and React frontends that make them usable.

I'm a software engineer with a BSc in Computer Science from Birzeit University, specialising in AI, NLP and workflow automation.
Most of my work is about getting language models to do something dependable. That means retrieval pipelines over real document sets, entity extraction from text that was never meant to be parsed, and the evaluation loop that tells you whether any of it actually improved.
The other half is the plumbing that makes it usable — FastAPI and .NET services over PostgreSQL, ingestion designed for volume, and Flutter or React frontends on top. A model nobody can reach isn't a feature.
Before the AI work I spent a year on enterprise workflow systems — approvals, validations, business rules. It taught me more about how organisations really operate than any amount of greenfield work would have.

Verifiable credentials
AI systems, blockchain credentials and public-sector platforms — plus the coursework that got me there.
An AI system that reads real-time checkpoint status out of Telegram. Telethon ingests high-volume unstructured messages, an LLM handles entity recognition and classification, and FastAPI pushes verified updates to a Flutter app over Firebase — with an Angular panel for moderators.
A platform supporting technical and vocational education in Palestine, connecting trainees, training centres and the labour market. A .NET Web API centralises trainee records and programme enrolment, a JobMatch integration links graduate skills to real employer requirements, and analytics on enrolment, completion and employment outcomes support policy decisions. Fully bilingual Arabic/English with RTL layout.
A certificate platform issuing verifiable digital credentials as ERC-1155 tokens, deployed on Polygon for low-cost transactions. Odoo handles the back office, a Flutter app the holder side, covering issuance, validation and ownership tracking.
An enterprise assistant built on retrieval-augmented generation with multi-layer LLM pipelines. Vector-based document retrieval behind a FastAPI backend turns scattered municipal documentation into automated Q&A.
A platform for running professional learning programmes end to end. Trainees follow learning tracks, assignments, grades and progress; mentors and administrators manage cohorts, review submissions and give feedback. React frontend over a Node.js API and PostgreSQL, with automated email notifications for submissions, approvals and account updates, plus reporting on trainee performance and training outcomes.
